Juicy J's

Juicy J's is a special place my son and I go to. We go there and have a nice treat when we're in this area of town when he has an appointment. It's our mom and son time. He's almost 18!! We get a few different food items. I love their protein bowls. I get the PB&J Bowl with all the toppings ( granola, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, toasted coconut flakes, peanut butter, and honey). You don't have to get the topping or get the one you'd like. You can't go wrong. The pack it full. These are the best bowls I have had compared to other places that do protein bowls that I've tried. Delicious, fresh, and filling. Their smoothies are great as well. I would love to try more items on the menu. I can't wait. Great staff and nice environment.

After a sweaty hot yoga class at Hot Yoga Downtown, I stopped by Juicy J’s and ordered the Sangre Dulce—and it was exactly what I needed. Cold, fresh, and perfectly sweet with just the right hint of citrus. Every sip felt like it was bringing me back to life. The ingredients tasted so fresh, and the mix was spot-on—light, refreshing, and super satisfying after a workout. The staff was friendly, and the vibe inside is relaxed and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back—might just make this my post-yoga ritual.

I have been in Abq for three years and have not been able to find a good smoothie shop. Juicy J’s is the best!! They know customer service and their drinks are made from fresh, local fruits and organic ingredients.

The food & smoothies at Juicy J’s are so fresh and delicious here. I love ordering the avocado hummus toast and the PB&J bowl. They never disappoint! The owner of this local cafe is amazing at what he does, not only does he make sure everything tastes delicious but he puts in the extra detail to make everything look good. This is a perfect place to get work done and study. It’s conveniently located near UNM and CNM with free parking and wifi!

I had one of their cucumber toasts and a latte – it was refreshing and tasty. This cafe is a great place to study/do work. Staff were attentive and kind which made my experience that much better!

Cute place to study and get work done. The matcha bowl was tasty and drinks were great! For parking: there are purple Juicy Js signs leading to the visitors parking on University BLVD. When going south on University Blvd SE (towards the stadiums/airport), go past the UNM Science & Technology Park oval and take a right onto Springer SE. The sign will point to another right turn towards Juicy J’s where you can park to the visitor parking. This confusion with parking (there were no signs at first and no signage from the street that this place existed) and has lead to a lower review previously with a rude response from the company. Thankfully, because they fixed the problem they now get four stars. They definitely do not get five stars since my original review got removed by the company, and I was unable to update it accordingly. I had told them in store that parking was confusing and hard to find the company with zero signage. They didn’t seem motivated to do anything about it until I made a review addressing the advertising/signage problem with getting people outside of CNM to come visit. While the bowls were great on my second visit, the attitude of the owner’s response is the reason why I don’t go there more often.
